Former UFC Star gives his take on Jake Paul’s physique

YouTuber turned-boxer Jake Paul seems to be in camp for his next fight against Mike Perry. Jake was initially supposed to take on boxing legend Mike Tyson in the ring, but Tyson bowed out of the bout due to an injury. Brawler Mike Perry agreed to fight the 27-year-old on short notice to make quick cash. Former Middleweight Derek Brunson poked fun at Paul’s physique and tweeted,

Jake Paul out here looking like Liver King

In a clip uploaded by Paul, he is spotted gearing up his cardio for the fight and having his top removed to battle the heat. Derek Brunson pokes fun at his physical condition and compares it to the physicality of the infamous social media personality. Liver King, whose real name is Brian Johnson, is an American fitness influencer who got caught lying about his steroid usage.

Paul will certainly not be happy with the comparison to the man known for promoting eating raw meat on his social media handle. Since bidding farewell to his career in the UFC, Derek Brunson has been scrapping it out in the PFL organization’s Light Heavyweight division.

It will be interesting to see how Jake Paul reacts to Derek Brunson’s comparison of him to Liver King and what happens in the ring when Jake Paul and Mike Perry actually step in the ring to scrap.
