The Indiana Fever secured their third win of the 2024 WNBA season on Friday night, as they narrowly defeated the Washington Mystics by a score of 85-83.

Caitlin Clark scored 30 points in the win, largely due to her shooting 7 of 13 from three point range.

And her teammate Kelsey Mitchell had an excellent game as well. She had 16 points, 4 assists, 3 steals, and shot 50% from three point range across 35 minutes played.

Clark and Mitchell spoke with media together after the Fever’s win. And while most questions were directed at Clark, Mitchell received the last question—and made a comical comment about playing with Clark.

“I’m playing alongside this kid, so it makes everything a little more dramatic,” Mitchell said, when asked about playing in front of packed crowds every night.

“And like, the people are coming out to see this person. So we just do what we can, we embrace it.”

It sounds like Mitchell doesn’t mind the added drama that comes with playing alongside Clark.
