Adrien Broner shows off missing teeth after having them knocked out in latest loss to Blair Cobbs

Broner looked like a shadow of his former self as he dropped a unanimous decision to Cobbs at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

To add further insult to injury, the former three-weight world champion had two of his front teeth knocked out in the second round after being decked by a thudding straight left.

As he regained his senses, Broner could be seen crawling on his hands and knees attempting to retrieve his pearly whites.

But luckily for him, he had new ones fitted just two days after losing them.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Broner shared two photos of him in the dentist’s chair with a wide gap in his teeth before posting a video of himself with his new gnashers.

Broner’s career now hangs in the balance following his most recent loss.

‘AB’ has only won two out of his last five fights and both of those victories came against low-level opposition.

Since losing to Manny Pacquiao in 2019, Broner has been extremely inactive and there are questions surrounding his commitment to the sport.

A loss to Cobbs, who has proven to be a step off world level, leaves his career in limbo.

Either Broner continues boxing and accepts his role as a gatekeeper or he hangs up the gloves for good.

If he does choose to box on then it seems he may be set for another lengthy stint on the sidelines.

In the immediate aftermath of the Cobbs fight, Broner took to social media to write: “Elbow fractured, shoulder torn but I fought through it. See you all soon.”

Friend and former world champion Andre Berto also claimed that Broner had broken his hand during the bout.

“I just left the dressing room; I think he broke his hand, so he’s going to go to the hospital,” Berto told Fight Hype on the night of the fight.

“That’s the fight game. He’s a person that gave us tremendous fights for a lot of years.

“The last few years have been kind of tough for him, everybody knows.

“He had a long span off, and, of course, he’s battling a lot of other issues to come back. I was surprised that he was strong enough to go through a camp and come back and fight.”
