Jake Paul insists ‘F***ING IDIOT’ Mike Perry will get knocked out as former UFC star hits back and labels him ‘soft as baby s***’ during heated video call

Jake Paul and Mike Perry did not hold back as they traded insults during a video conference call on the MMA Hour on Wednesday.

It was confirmed earlier this week that Perry would be stepping in to replace boxing legend Mike Tyson, who had to withdraw from the July 20 event after suffering a health scare on a recent flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

The former undisputed heavyweight champion required medical attention after an ulcer flare up left him nauseous and dizzy, with paramedics eventually boarding the plane to treat him after it had touched down in LA.

As a result, Tyson has been forced to delay his showdown with the YouTuber-turned-fighter until November 15, when he hopes to be fit enough to compete professionally again for the first time in almost two decades.

And Paul and Perry wasted no time in beginning the promotion for their showdown with a joint interview with Ariel Helwani.

Jake Paul had plenty to say to Mike Perry as the pair traded insults in a conference call

‘I know Mike Tyson says everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face but I like getting punched in my face,’ Perry said. ‘So my plan is coming together nicely.’

‘That’s because you’re a f***ing idiot,’ Paul fired back. ‘What makes me good at fighting is I don’t like getting punched in the face and I practice not to. That’s what I’m going to teach you in the sport of boxing, you little bitch.

‘This is not bare-knuckle. Not a bunch of old MMA fighters just running around punching each other bare-knuckle like some f***ing hooligans. I’ll show you a real sport.’

The fight comes a few years after the pair were involved in a sparring match during one of Paul’s fight camps.

‘I was still just learning boxing, probably in my second year of boxing,’ Paul said.

‘Worked him all five rounds when I was [at the gym] and now it’s going to be even crazier July 20. That’s why I know I’m going to be able to knock him out because I’m just a completely, completely different fighter. I already beat his ass in sparring and made him my son and he’s even admitting that. He’s saying he has a plan but we don’t believe it. We just don’t believe it and on July 20, I’m going to show the world the sparring session live.

‘You’ve been fighting these cab drivers and these f***ing fat pieces of shit,’ Perry shouted in  reply. ‘You think that you’re going to do anything to a real f*cking man like me, you lost your mind. If you punch me in my face, I will smile and hit you back multiple times.

‘He’s tricked the world into thinking he’s fantastic. I’ve been doing this shit a long time and I took the hard long road. I’m looking to show everybody what a real fighter is.’

‘Everyone clip that once I beat his ass and then take this edit and then go to the clip of me knocking him the f*ck out,’ Paul said. ‘Scene.’

It’s safe to say, Perry doesn’t buy into Paul’s power, much less the suggestion that he’s going to score a knockout.
