Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are Super Bowl-winning teammates, so there is no real competition.

Everyone knows that Taylor Swift is the biggest pop music star on the planet.

With each buzzing TMZ news break and breathtaking social-media update on what Swift is wearing, singing or releasing, Kelce becomes bigger than Mahomes, simply by being romantically attached to an all-powerful woman who seemingly can do no wrong in 2024.

Thanks to all the Swifties — and there are so many of them it’s sometimes a little scary — Kelce has become the biggest name in the biggest American sport, even though Mahomes is the franchise-changing quarterback who leads a dynasty in Kansas City and already has three Super Bowl MVPs.

So, yes, Swifties: Trav and Tay Tay are invincible.

Especially when Kelce’s weekly New Heights podcast with Jason is factored in, as the big brother prepares to take his wild-man talents to ESPN.

But Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are the real modern US sports power couple, not the pop star and a tight end.

Led by Brittany, the Mahomes have serious ties to the growing National Women’s Soccer League.

And Major League Soccer.

And Major League Baseball’s Kansas City Royals.

Throw in Patrick’s well-documented love of Whataburger — he’s fine-tuned his famous “dad bod” with the help of fast food and hopes to one day open 30 franchises — and Kelce-Swift can’t compare on the field of play to Patrick and Brittany.

“I so love these two,” one Mahomes fan tweeted. “Patrick is not only a great athlete, but his heart is in the right place while being a down to earth guy.”

“How long until he buys Kansas City altogether?” a second fan joked.

The Chiefs QB is also an avid sports tweeter, regularly pumping up his local KC teams, while promoting everything from the NBA playoffs to WWE.

“Great game! Big time shot! #NBAPlayoffs,” tweeted Mahomes, who has given public shoutouts to Luka Doncic, Reggie Bush and Chiefs general manager Brett Veach in the last month.

Patrick has become so sports cool in 2024 that he gave Jake Paul how-to-beat-Mike-Tyson advice, and also acknowledged that he’s legitimately scared of Iron Mike.

“I just met (Lionel) Messi the other day,” Mahomes told Logan Paul.

Patrick, Brittany, Kelce and Swift were all scheduled to appear at the third running of the Formula One Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, according to The Sun.

But as of race time, Swift was nowhere to be seen near the track in Miami.

Sky’s Martin Brundle even mentioned that Swift was missing at the Miami GP before the lights went out.

The Chiefs’ primary touchdown connection has a relationship with struggling Alpine, which features Patrick and Kelce as investors but is still searching for a single point five races into the 2024 season.

Patrick, Brittany, Kelce and Taylor have accumulated so much wealth and star power that there’s been no need for bitter competition.

They’re above that stuff and don’t have time for petty things that are “So High School.”

But it’s also undeniable that, due to Swift’s worldwide fame, Kelce has spent much of his recent downtime doing the globe-hopping thing.

Since throwing the game-winning TD in overtime of Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, Patrick has consistently tweeted about watching a variety of live sports, while the Mahomes collectively opened the first-ever bespoke women’s sport stadium.

Kelce’s last post on X was a self-promoting retweet, with No. 87 for the Chiefs teasing a music festival and his own “larger-than-life personality.”

If Swift had set foot on the F1 track in “Florida!!!,” flashing cameras and zoomed-in phones would have saturated every move she made.

But Patrick and Brittany are the real US sports power couple, lifting up a small market in the middle of America and turning the Mahomes family into a household name.

Kelce made a brief appearance at the Miami GP, while Swift was a big no show.
