Tom Brady to be honored with 12-FOOT bronze statue outside Gillette Stadium after Patriots Hall of Fame induction – HO

A 12-foot bronze statue of Tom Brady will be erected outside Gillette Stadium to honor the New England Patriots Hall of Famer.

During his induction to the franchise Hall of Fame on Wednesday, team owner Robert Kraft revealed the big news while introducing the former quarterback in Foxborough.

‘Tommy’s induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame is why we are all here tonight,’ Kraft said. ‘Our goal was to create a once-in-a-lifetime ceremony for a one-of-a-kind player. I hope we accomplish that goal with a few firsts.

‘The first Hall of Fame ceremony inside Gillette Stadium, the first number retirement in 14 years, and the first Patriots statue ever commissioned.’

Besides the news of his sculpture, Kraft opened up his remarks by announcing the retirement of his iconic No. 12 jersey number.

As the seven-time Super Bowl champion (six with the Patriots) sat teary-eyed, Kraft noted that Brady’s number is the first to be retired since Bruce Armstrong in 2001.

‘There’s only one iconic number that will always represent Tom Brady. And tonight, I promise that it will never be worn again,’ Kraft said. ‘As the number 12 is now officially retired.

The Patriots opted to celebrate Brady on June 12 to honor his jersey number and the number of rings he won with the franchise.

Brady tallied 614 touchdown passes in the regular season and playoffs while collecting 219 victories in 20 seasons with the Patriots.

He parted ways with New England to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played for three seasons and won another ring before retiring.

After his initial retirement in 2022, Brady quickly retracted his farewell to return for a third season with the Bucs. After the 2022-2023 season, Brady announced on social media that he was retiring ‘for good.’

While he teased the possibility of returning, Brady’s bid to be a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders has been as big a priority despite being a roadblock to playing again.

Brady owns stakes in the Las Vegas Aces, Birmingham City FC in the EFL, and Las Vegas Night Owls in Major League Pickleball.

In 20 seasons with the Patriots, Brady tallied six Super Bowl Championships and 219 wins

He recently starred in The Greatest Roast of All Time, a three-hour Netflix comedy special where he was honored and flamed by the best stand-up comedians and his former colleagues.

Brady is also gearing up to be the head NFL analyst for Fox Sports after signing a lucrative 10-year, $375 million deal.

Brady returned Gillette in September for the Patriots’ 2023 season opener and was honored by owner Robert Kraft – who announced Brady’s induction to the team. Brady is getting inducted before the requisite four years of waiting.
