Amid all the talk about the absence of Caitlin Clark on Team USA’s Olympics roster, A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces believes that the Americans have what it takes to dominate in Paris and bring home the gold – again.

Wilson, who was also part of the gold medal-winning United States squad in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, thinks that Team USA’s incredible depth is going to serve them well in Paris.

“What makes us stand out has to be our depth. One through twelve, we are good. We are great at every position. We are big, and I think a lot of countries don’t have that. We have that and then some. I love playing alongside that. You can’t just focus on one player,” Wilson said, per Khristina Williams.

Wilson is right. Team USA is stacked. Wilson will be alongside Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner in the frontcourt. Other stars on the team are Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty, Alyssa Thomas of the WNBA-leading Connecticut Sun, and Diana Taurasi and Kahleah Cooper of the Mercury.

There is undeniably so much firepower, size, and depth on this team.
