The Indiana Fever defeated the Phoenix Mercury 88-82 in a thrilling Sunday matinee game.
At one point in the contest, there was a scuffle between Fever and Mercury players after the two team’s huddled up close to one another during a pause in the action.
And Fever rookie Caitlin Clark clearly wanted to take no part in the brief tussle.
This caused X user @TheAfrocentricI to reply to a video of Clark avoiding the action and writing, “Her teammates are supposed to have her back but she doesn’t have theirs?”
“You don’t see curry fighting when draymond get into it… yo star don’t get involved because they can’t get kicked out the game,” one X user replied to the post.

Another fan wrote. “She pulled 14 away and then the scuffle ended. The haters and their mental gymnastics smh”.
Clark’s haters will do anything to disparage the rookie.
