The Seattle Storm took on the Los Angeles Sparks in a WNBA game Tuesday night.

The Storm ultimately won the game 95-79 and improved to 8-4 on the season as a result, while the Sparks are now 4-8.

Sparks rookie Cameron Brink struggled during the game. The #2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft finished the loss with 7 points and 4 rebounds on 2 of 7 shooting from the field.

Brink did also have 4 blocks. But it was one block that Storm player Ezi Magbegor had on Brink that went the most viral.

The Seattle Storm’s social media team posted a photo of Brink having her shot blocked by Magbegor, which contained a clear message.

“Welcome to the league, rook.” the Storm’s X post wrote, along with an emoji.

Fans are having fun with the post in the comments.

“If she did this to Caitlin Clark barstool would be calling it a hate crime,” one fan responded.

Brink and the Sparks will look to bounce back with a better performance against the Minnesota Lynx on Friday.
