Caitlin Clark is widely considered the best college women’s basketball player of all time. She spent four seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes and received nearly every accolade an NCAAW player could.
Before Clark’s college career, she was named a McDonald’s All-American in 2020. She went on to become a three-time first-team All-American and a two-time National Player of the Year. Clark also broke the NCAA record for most career points. The one achievement Clark was unable to reach was winning a national championship, losing the title game in 2023 and 2024.
On Monday night, Clark received her second CWSA Honda Cup award, which goes to the top student-athlete of the year. In her acceptance speech, Clark needed just one word to describe her Iowa career: “Tremendous.”

“The four years go really fast, so to you that still have some time left in college, seriously enjoy it because I can’t believe my career is already over and I’ve already started my professional career. But, yeah, my time at Iowa was truly tremendous,” Clark said.
"I think that's the reason we were as good as we were … because of that bond that we shared."
