Caitlin Clark has one of the biggest fanbases in all of basketball, regardless of gender.

And it’s for good reason. Not only is Clark a world-class player on the court, but she’s a first-rate human being as well. She excellent when speaking to the media and also takes time before and after WNBA games to sign autographs and interact with young fans.

And on Tuesday, Clark spent the Fever’s off-day playing basketball with children as volunteers built what will soon be a new home in Boone County, as part of a Habitat for Humanity event.

Although Clark didn’t take it easy with the kids on the court.

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) rushes up the court Tuesday, May 28, 2024, during the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Indiana Fever, 88-82.

A video of Clark ruthlessly swatting a ball away from one young fan is going viral on social media.

The video shows the kid (unsuccessfully) trying to fake out Clark, who then blocks his ball a few feet away.

That X video currently had 145,000 views. And according to its caption, this block is one of at least five that Clark had on the day.

Perhaps the Indiana Fever superstar needed to exorcise some demons from what has been a tough season to this point.
