Last week, the WNBA took a significant hit when Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink suffered a torn ACL. The injury will keep her out for the remainder of the 2024 season, and she will no longer be able to participate in the 2024 Olympics 3×3 basketball for Team USA.
On Tuesday, Brink took to social media to update her followers on her injury. The photo she posted revealed that she is using crutches and a medical brace to recover after her recent surgery.
Many fans and fellow athletes left their responses and wishes to Brink in the comment section. One of the people who responded was WNBA All-Star and Seattle Storm guard Skylar Diggins-Smith.

“You got this,” Diggins-Smith said.
Brink was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. She played four years with the Stanford Cardinal and won a national championship in 2021.
Diggins-Smith has been in the WNBA since 2013. She played with the Dallas Wings and Phoenix Mercury before joining the Storm in 2024. She is a six-time WNBA All-Star.
