Henry Cavill has been in a relationship with his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, who is a Hollywood executive, since 2021. The pair were seen together as a couple for the first time in public on the red carpet of Enola Holmes 2 in 2022 (via Elle). Recently, the Man of Steel star confirmed that they are expecting their first child soon. However, the actor has yet to propose to Viscuso to be his one and only in life.

It seems the actor has been taking things related to his relationship very carefully and slowly. A source told Closer that while the pair have actively discussed plans to get married, Cavill is also very committed to his current ‘hobby-filled lifestyle’. He reportedly is still very comfortable with his bachelor lifestyle, and their relationship has mostly been through long-distance communication.

The report continues to state that Viscuso has been incredibly patient with Cavill and has been waiting for him to make the right move to make their marriage official. However, Cavill’s slow and meticulous way of maintaining their relationship has reportedly made her a bit restless and antsy. The report said,

A lot of this relationship has been conducted over long distances because Henry treasures his bachelor time too much. But he also has a whole extended family in England that he’s still very close to and that he still relies on. She’s not an insecure person but Henry’s super-slow and purposeful way of doing everything in their relationship has made her a bit antsy, to say the least.

When Cavill announced the news of their expecting a baby together, he was very excited and brimming with happiness (on Access Hollywood). The couple’s bond seems to be growing stronger with time. However, if this report is indeed valid, Cavill must try to make things official soon and not keep his girlfriend waiting.

After delivering the incredible four films in the John Wick franchise, Chad Stahelski is now moving on to new territory with the upcoming reboot of Highlander starring Henry Cavill. In an interview with Collider, the director stated that they start production on the film in January 2025 in Scotland and will go for a final location scout soon.

The director further teased the intense sword fights that would be a major part of the film. He is aware that sword fights can become boring if not done interestingly, and he is figuring out how to make it all work along with the narrative of the film. Stahelski said,

We start shooting in January in Scotland, that’s why I go right after I leave. I go to Scotland on Monday to do the final location scout. Sometimes a three-minute sword fight can be a little boring. So I’m more worried about, ‘Am I going to bore you with a movie about sword fighting?’ And how do I sprinkle in firearms, and martial arts, and car chases, and what’s the story part of things? I have to get all that as well.

The original 1984 Highlander is considered a cult classic, and it remains to be seen whether Stahelski manages to preserve the essence of the original while also updating it for modern audiences. Highlander will be released sometime in 2026.
