In an interview with the film website CinemaBlend, Cavill was asked about his new facial hair and how it came about. Cavill explains: “I think it turned out very nicely. I had the idea of ​​having a really bushy beard and a moustache. Of course, it took some time to grow it, so there was a certain evolution.”

Cavill continued that he always wanted to wear a twirled, waxed moustache look. “But that takes training. Not just for me, I had to learn how much hair wax I needed for the beard and what it should look like. The hair itself also needs training so that it stays in the right position.”

Without this training, Cavill continued in the interview with CinemaBlend, the mustache might not stay in the right position when he got a little warmer during filming. “All the hair wax would melt and you would just be left with a droopy mustache.”

In “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” Henry Cavill plays a character named Gus March-Phillipps, who is tasked with putting together the first black ops commando in history. In order to turn the tide in the fight against the seemingly overwhelming Nazis during World War II, March-Phillipps and his team are tasked with sabotage the German submarines.
