Fans reacted strongly to Billie Eilish’s statement accusing Taylor Swift of betrayal, claiming Swift badmouthed her to a man who was ready to marry her and then took him away. Billie said, “I can’t be her fan, I can’t be her friend, she’s not a good person.”

Swift, however, remains unfazed by Eilish’s repeated attempts to criticize her. Insiders reveal that Taylor is too busy selling out stadiums to pay attention to Billie’s remarks.

The two pop superstars seem to be engaged in a “vicious campaign” against each other as they battle for the top spot on the Billboard album chart following their respective new releases. Despite having publicly praised each other in the past, Swifties feel that Billie, 22, has been subtly bashing Taylor in a series of interviews.

Billie branded three-hour concerts as “psychotic” – Taylor’s shows are three and a half hours long – and criticized the “wasteful” practice of releasing numerous vinyl versions of albums, a practice Taylor has engaged in with multiple editions of her album “The Tortured Poets Department.”

An insider close to the “Bad Blood” singer told DailyMail.com that Taylor isn’t giving her “jealous” contemporary any attention and wishes Billie would focus on empowering fellow female artists instead.

“Taylor is unbothered by Billie’s continued subtle jabs because she is too busy selling out stadiums and traveling the world,” they said. “It is clear to her that Billie may have something against her and that it could stem from jealousy. Billie is new to the game compared to Taylor.”

“First, Billie appeared to target her for releasing her music in various forms and used the whole environmentalist argument. Then she appeared to accuse Taylor of releasing ‘Tortured Poets’ in three different versions to stay on top of the charts,” the insider added.

Despite the tension, Taylor continues to dominate the music scene, showing resilience and grace amid the controversy.
