Boxer Ryan Garcia agrees to face Jake Paul in MMA under one condition

Renowned boxer Ryan Garcia has revealed his willingness to step into the MMA arena and face off against Jake Paul, but with one crucial caveat – he wants Logan Paul to drop his defamation lawsuit against him first.

The ongoing drama between the Garcia brothers and the Paul siblings has been a focal point in the world of combat sports. Earlier this year, Garcia’s beef with Jake was revealed to be a fabricated attempt to “stir things up,” but the situation with Logan is much more contentious.

On May 23, Logan filed a defamation lawsuit against Garcia, citing the former champion’s comments against the Prime Hydration brand on social media, which Logan claims have cost the company millions in lost sales. However, Garcia is now offering a potential solution to this legal dispute.

In a recent conversation with paparazzi, Garcia was asked about the possibility of a MMA match with Jake Paul. After a brief pause, he responded, “If Logan drops the lawsuit.” This conditional offer suggests that Garcia is willing to put aside his differences with Jake and step into the octagon, but only if his ongoing legal battle with Logan is resolved.

The Daily Stardust also inquired about Garcia’s recent positive test for Ostarine and year-long ban from boxing. Garcia addressed the issue, stating, “I’m retiring for a year. So they don’t get the satisfaction for suspending me, cause it’s bull. I’ve never done ster*ids in my life.”

Furthermore, Garcia expressed his openness to other challenges, stating that if Sean O’Malley offered him a fight in the UFC, he would be willing to accept it. “I’m ready to fight anybody at this point,” he shared.

While Jake Paul has not responded to Garcia’s offer as of now, the influencer-turned-boxer has a packed schedule for 2024, with a fight scheduled on July 20, 2024, before his highly anticipated Netflix bout with legendary boxer Mike Tyson in November.
