One thing about Conor McGregor is that he knows how to secure his bank balance. From the whiskey business to fighting for millions, the ‘Notorious’ is all about stacking up for future generations. He’s got his hands on everything, including the BKFC promotion. Now, he’s tapping into his love for music by starting a music label. Well, the guy’s always finding new ways to expand his empire.

At a press conference, the 36-year-old Irishman revealed his new venture, stating, “I am excited to create Ireland’s first major record label, in an industry that I have had great interest in for some time.”

McGregor co-founded Greenback Records with music industry partners Richard Buck and Julian O’Brien. This label is Dublin’s first major music label and aims to offer partnership deals to artists and support musicians at all career stages, from multi-platinum sellers to emerging talents. While details about the label are still limited, more information will be revealed in the coming days.

While McGregor’s entrepreneurial success is growing daily, his fighting career is more uncertain. The Irish fighter is finding it challenging to return to the UFC but has hinted at when he might do so.

Conor McGregor Sets Sights on Fighting in BKFC

At a recent BKFC press conference, co-owner Conor McGregor expressed his interest in fighting for the organization. The Irish fighter joined BKFC as a part owner earlier this year. Although he revealed that he has two fights left on his UFC contract, his return to the UFC has not yet been officially confirmed. Moreover, his brands, Proper Twelve and Forged Irish Stout have been sponsorship partners with BKFC.

McGregor was expected to return at UFC 303 on June 29 to fight Michael Chandler, but he had to withdraw due to a broken toe. He hasn’t fought in the UFC since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in 2021. Although he aims to return in December, there is no official confirmation from the UFC yet. Whether his association with BKFC will impact his UFC return remains to be seen.
