If Mike Tyson cancels his fight with Jake Paul, Logan suggests stepping into the ring with his younger brother.

Tyson has encountered issues with a stomach ulcer while traveling, leading him to pause training and postpone his comeback.

In a podcast episode featuring Donald Trump, Logan disclosed his readiness to substitute for Tyson: “I was ready to step in for Mike Tyson when he fell ill and had to postpone the fight. We actually pitched this idea to Netflix.”

Trump commented on family dynamics, saying “It’s tough when brothers fight.” Logan responded with a focus on financial benefits: “Not tough for Netflix. Not tough when the fight generates big money. We’ll figure it out. Jake and I have decided that no matter what happens, we’ll have to accept it. But of course, I love my little brother.”

Jake is slated to face UFC fighter and current bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry soon. The two have been engaging in continuous verbal sparring and believe a clash is inevitable.

Jake has a history of facing former UFC fighters in boxing, including Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, and Ben Askren. His professional boxing venture began last year with a loss to Tommy Fury.

Logan’s boxing career has been less successful, with a draw against KSI followed by a loss in their rematch in Los Angeles. He also faced Mayweather in an exhibition bout, resulting in a draw after 8 rounds.

This isn’t the first time Logan has proposed stepping in for Tyson following news of a postponed fight. Earlier in June, Logan wrote on X about the fight, wanting to face his younger brother to salvage the bout.

Despite Logan’s offer potentially piquing fan interest, it seems Jake will not fight Logan. Tyson has also clearly stated his desire to fight Jake, despite his stomach issues.

“My body is in a better state now than in the 1990s and I will soon be back to full training mode. Jake Paul, this may have given you some extra time, but in the end, you will still be knocked out and removed from boxing forever,” Tyson expressed determination to compete.

The decision to postpone the bout was made last week after “Iron Fist” encountered health issues. Tyson fell ill while flying from Miami to Los Angeles due to a recurring stomach ulcer.

A member of his team later reassured that Tyson is “fine,” but medical professionals deemed the legend unfit to compete. Currently, Tyson is taking time to rest and recover before resuming training.

This would have been Tyson’s first professional bout in 19 years, and he will be 58 years old on the scheduled fight date.

Reacting to the postponement announcement, social media star Paul said, “Obviously, this is shocking news. I’m heartbroken, lost for words. Tyson said he wants to do this in Q4, I’m ready. He just needs a little more time, so I’m ready whenever the opponent is ready.”

“This is a huge opportunity and I think this fight will change the world. We’ve been working really hard in training camp. I just feel bad for everyone involved in this event, but let’s all wait together,” Paul added.

The postponement not only affects Tyson and Paul but also impacts the entire event and the fighters involved. Fans are eagerly anticipating the rescheduled date and hoping to witness an exciting and dramatic showdown.
