Rihanna says she wishes she could time-travel back to 10 minutes before she lost her v!rginity – HO

Everyone wishes they could travel back in time — whether to view a historical moment, or simply to make a better choice. That’s why we can relate to the fact that Rihanna wants to revisit when she lost her virginity. Or more directly, the ten-minute window before she decided to give up her v-card.

Weirdly enough, Rihanna revealed this to David Copperfield, who interviewed her for ELLE‘s October 2017 issue. It makes sense, since Copperfield is one of the biggest illusionists in the world, and probably our go-to guy if we ever wanted to make the unreal — like time travel — become a reality.

That’s exactly how Rihanna saw it too, based on her response.

“Ten minutes before I lost my virginity…and I’m holding you to that offer,” she said, ending with a laugh.

One of the reasons why we love Rihanna is because while she’s not totally an open book, she still normalizes the conversation about sex and relationships.

Not only do her songs often bring up the topic, but she’s opened up about moments like her first kiss. Which, in her eyes, didn’t go so well.

Back in 2011, she described it to Rolling Stone as being “the worst thing ever,” and even mentioned that it put her off of kissing for quite some time.

“He pretty much dumped his entire saliva glands into my mouth. It traumatized me. I didn’t kiss for, like, ever,” she said.

We’ve been there.

In that same interview, she admitted that she’s been to a sex shop for a few supplies, but left with two full bags of toys. Because, well, she was a little bit tipsy at the time.

We’re just glad to know that, while that first time may have been a little bad, things have gotten much better since.
