Caitlin Clark has been dropping dimes early in the 2024 WNBA season. In fact, the No. 1 overall pick is recording assists at a historic pace.

In the first half of Sunday afternoon’s matchup against the Phoenix Mercury, Clark set the all-time single-season franchise assist record for an Indiana Fever rookie.

Clark reached 129 assists through just 20 games this season.

“Another record for the resume. Congratulations to Caitlin Clark for breaking the rookie franchise record for assists in a single season in just 20 games,” the Fever wrote on X.

Heading into Sunday afternoon’s matchup, Clark ranked fourth in the entire WNBA with 6.6 assists per game — trailing only Alyssa Thomas, Natasha Cloud and Sabrina Ionescu.
