The singer revealed that she has followed the North American since she was a child

Known by fans as “the famous of the famous”, Beyoncé gained another celebrity to her list of fans: Ningning , from aespa . The singer, who is part of the South Korean group, revealed that she has seen the North American artist as her main reference since she was a child. Additionally, she sang one of the tracks on “Dangerously in Love” .

On the South Korean talk show “ LeeMujin Service ”, Ningning talked about her entry into music and said that she always wanted to be in this industry. “When I realized I had a special talent, I wanted to become a singer. I believe that singing is my true calling , ” she said.

“I’m very happy when I’m singing or listening to music. I think it’s a perfect match for me. Even if I wasn’t part of aespa, I would still be working in the music sector ,” she stated.

Then, the presenter asked which artists were his biggest references, from South Korea or the rest of the world. The singer then promptly spoke about Beyoncé and said that she had been following her since she was young. “When I was little, I was inspired by Beyoncé’s performance. When I saw her performance, I knew I wanted to be like her , ” she said.

After that, Lee Munjin asked if Ningning could sing any of the American artist’s songs. She then confirmed and covered “Me, Myself and I”, from the “Dangerously in Love” album . Check out!
