The arrival of Caitlin Clark in the WNBA has resulted in several major wins for the league. More people are watching the WNBA than ever, in large part due to the presence of the No. 1 pick.
Indiana Fever games continually set television viewership and in-person attendance records.
Average attendance for Fever home games is 16,757. Average away games bring in 14,858 fans. All other non-Clark WNBA games this season average 7.723 fans — which is up 1,100 compared to the 2023 season.
In reaction to these statistics, women’s basketball legend Rebecca Lobo referred to Clark as a “tsunami” raising the overall tide of the WNBA world.
“Caitlin Clark is a force like we’ve never seen when it comes to driving ratings & ticket sales in the @WNBA. ‘All other games’ (any that don’t involve the @IndianaFever) are still +1,100 over 2023. A rising tide lifts all boats. And this kid is a tsunami,” Lobo wrote on X.

Clark and the Fever will face the Seattle Storm on Thursday night. Just as with every Indiana game this season, this contest will no doubt boast another sold-out crowd.
