When Team USA announced its final roster decision for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games earlier this month, Caitlin Clark’s name was not on the list of 12 players.

This decision sparked controversy around the WNBA world.

Some feel Clark’s superstardom should’ve landed her a spot on her first Olympic roster. Others feel the Indiana Fever rookie still has a lot left to prove before she earns the honor of representing her country.

WNBA legend Lisa Leslie is among those who feel Clark should’ve been selected for the final roster.

Back in April, Leslie delivered a simple 10-word take on whether or not Clark deserved a spot.

“I don’t know how you leave the country without her,” the three-time WNBA MVP and four-time Olympic gold medalist said.
